By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
These Terms apply globally to all users regardless of jurisdiction. Where local laws impose additional requirements, those requirements apply to the extent they are mandatory.
ReadMyBlot is a digital entertainment and self-reflection experience that presents users with a series of standardised inkblot images and invites them to share their perceptions and associations. Using an artificial intelligence system, the Service generates a personalised narrative portrait based on your responses.
ReadMyBlot is an entertainment product. It does not diagnose, treat, or assess any medical or psychological condition. The use of psychological frameworks and terminology is for narrative enrichment and entertainment purposes only.
THE PORTRAIT GENERATED BY THE SERVICE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A CLINICAL DIAGNOSIS, PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT, PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION, OR ANY FORM OF MEDICAL ADVICE. The Service is not a substitute for, and should not be used in place of, consultation with a qualified mental health professional, psychiatrist, psychologist, physician, or other licensed healthcare provider.
Your ReadMyBlot portrait is an AI-generated interpretive narrative created for the purposes of self-reflection, entertainment, and personal insight only. It is not diagnostic of any mental health condition, personality disorder, cognitive impairment, or any other clinical condition. It should not be used to make clinical, therapeutic, employment, legal, educational, or any other high-stakes decisions about yourself or others.

Your portrait is generated by an artificial intelligence system (Anthropic's Claude). It is not written or reviewed by a human psychologist or clinician. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, generalisations, or culturally influenced interpretations that do not accurately reflect your individual psychology, history, circumstances, or wellbeing. You should approach your portrait as one perspective among many — interesting, potentially illuminating, but not definitive.
The Service does not use validated psychometric instruments, psychological testing standards, or clinically recognised assessment methodologies. Outputs are generated through pattern-based AI interpretation and are not scientifically validated measures of personality, cognition, or emotional functioning. The Service is an experimental digital experience using interpretive storytelling, not a personality assessment, trait analysis, or predictive tool.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, you must not use the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will terminate their account and delete their data.
The Service is available globally, subject to applicable local laws. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with the laws of your jurisdiction.
To access the full features of the Service, you must create an account by providing your name, email address, and a password. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised access to or use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain inaccurate information, or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or in bad faith.
The Service offers a free preview of your portrait (archetype and opening narrative). The full portrait, including all four dimensions (Personality, Emotional Intelligence, Core Motivators, and Growth Edges) and PDF export, is available for a one-time purchase of US$12.99.
Prices are displayed in US dollars and may be subject to local taxes or currency conversion fees imposed by your payment provider. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, but changes will not affect purchases already completed.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not collect or store your credit card or bank account details. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
Because the full portrait is digital content that is delivered immediately upon payment, you acknowledge that you are requesting immediate performance and that you lose the right of withdrawal once the full portrait is unlocked and displayed to you.
If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your purchased portrait (e.g., the portrait fails to generate or cannot be displayed), please contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of purchase and we will either resolve the issue or provide a full refund.
We do not offer refunds for dissatisfaction with the content of your portrait, as the interpretive output is inherently subjective and varies by individual. If you believe your portrait was not generated correctly, please contact us and we will investigate.
We donate 10% of gross revenue from portrait purchases to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals International (SPCAI). This means $1.30 of every US$12.99 portrait purchase. This donation is made by Pinchysoft (operating as ReadMyBlot) and does not constitute a tax-deductible charitable contribution by you. ReadMyBlot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or formally partnered with SPCAI. We reserve the right to change the recipient charity or donation percentage with a minimum of 30 days' notice posted on the Service. Any change will apply only to future purchases, not past ones.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
Use the Service for any clinical, diagnostic, employment, legal, educational, or other high-stakes decision-making purpose.
Attempt to use, share, or present your ReadMyBlot portrait as a clinical assessment, psychological evaluation, or professional opinion.
Use the Service to assess, evaluate, or make decisions about third parties without their knowledge and consent.
Misrepresent the nature or authority of the portrait generated by the Service.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service or its underlying algorithms.
Upload or transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, fraudulent, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of any party.
Use automated systems, bots, or scrapers to access the Service.
Circumvent any security, access control, or authentication mechanism of the Service.
Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our systems or interfere with other users.
You agree that you will not rely on the Service for making personal, professional, financial, medical, or legal decisions. You are solely responsible for how you interpret and use the content generated by the Service.
If you choose to share your psychological portrait on social media or with third parties, you do so at your own risk and discretion. ReadMyBlot is not responsible for any professional, personal, or other repercussions resulting from your public disclosure of your portrait data. Your portrait should not be shown to, or relied upon by, employers, insurers, legal proceedings, or other third parties as an assessment of your character or capabilities.
If you are currently experiencing a mental health crisis, significant emotional distress, or are under the care of a mental health professional, we recommend consulting your care provider before using this Service. Some users may find the experience emotionally evocative or confronting. If any content generated by the Service causes distress, please discontinue use immediately and seek support from a qualified professional.
All content, design, software, algorithms, text, graphics, logos, and other materials comprising the Service are the intellectual property of Pinchysoft or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws globally.
The original Rorschach inkblot images used in the Service are in the public domain. The interpretive frameworks, narrative generation systems, user interface, and overall experience are proprietary to Pinchysoft.
Your responses and the portrait generated from them are personal to you. You retain ownership of the content you input into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your responses for the sole purpose of generating your portrait. We may also use de-identified, aggregated data to improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. This licence does not survive account deletion — upon deletion, your data is removed from all systems within 30 days, and no non-anonymised data is retained for any purpose.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that the portraits generated by the Service are accurate, complete, or applicable to your individual circumstances. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PINCHYSOFT AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, PERSONAL INJURY, OR PSYCHOLOGICAL HARM.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
In jurisdictions that do not permit the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pinchysoft and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) your infringement of any third-party rights.
The Service uses Anthropic's Claude artificial intelligence model to generate your portrait. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your responses are processed by this third-party system. We take reasonable steps to ensure that third-party providers maintain appropriate data protection standards, as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services, and your use of them is at your own risk.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to your violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
You may terminate your account at any time using the "Delete Account" option in the Account menu, or by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon account deletion, we will process the deletion of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Termination of your account does not entitle you to a refund of any amounts paid.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, by sending you an email notification. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia, Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Users in the European Union benefit from the consumer protection laws of their country of residence and may bring claims before the courts of their country of residence. Users in the United Kingdom, Canada, and other jurisdictions retain their statutory consumer rights. Nothing in these Terms restricts any mandatory consumer protection rights that apply in your jurisdiction.

For unresolved disputes, the courts of Western Australia shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pinchysoft with respect to the Service and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
